BROWN & KAIJI (IN STEREO) – HOMAGE ((FREE EP))

Very few artists decide to pay homage. Many should yet still fail to do so. Why so is it so a rarely done? I am not here to answer that rhetorical question but yet to point out an artist that HAS doe just that. Kaiji is a mellow-voiced rapper representing the Chi streets in her own way, oh yeah and she decided to pay homage to the greats even though this is one of her first few albums still. Dope! The cover art gives a nod to Tribe Called Quest’s “Midnight Marauders” album cover with the many heads of influential artist of the past and present gracing it. I love the song “Soul” check out the EP, download it for free and hear the artist for yourself.
