A Night in the Underground – A Film on Chicago Hip-Hop (mini-doc)

February 7, 2013

Chicago’s hip hop scene has always existed. Before a Chief Keef, Lupe, Kanye, or a Common. It has and always will be vibrant with life and full of artists from all sides wanting to be seen, and heard, but most of all have an opportunity to express themselves artistically.

This mini doc is only 22 minutes and only represents a small number of Chicago’s Hip Hop current movement but definitely is a great piece of work as far as giving all those outside of the city a introduction via a few of Chicago’s finest spittas’. Phillip Morris, Coolout Chris, The Primeridian and Dirty MF are only a few of who was featured. Check it out and by all means keep digging because this is only an introduction. Read this, love this, spread this.
